The project includes expanding lithium carbonate production from 100 tonnes per annum to nearly 2,000 tonnes per annum by 2028/9, and developing further geothermal power sites in Cornwall with planning permission. The United Downs plant started power production in February 2026, delivering 3MWe of baseload electricity to power around 10,000 UK homes. |
