Description | Volunteering for Unity project will contribute in the form of ensuring a more balances access to formal and non-formal education for girls, and present to schools and the communities some biases that can affect the education system when it comes to gender, while given easily replicable examples By: Increasing recognition of discrimination towards girls and young women Breaking down traditional gender roles and stereotypes Specific objectives: O1: Capacitate 40 volunteers with competences to become actively involved in their sending communities in the work of alleviating the needs of children and youth in regards to their educational struggles O2: Capacitate 15 volunteers per hosting community with competences to become actively involved in their communities in the work of alleviating the needs of children and youth in regards to their educational struggles, through peer to peer educational support system method O3:Creating a network of prepared NGO’s to tackled through the EQUIP approach a wider impact in diminishing the problem faced by children/youth, especially when it comes to girls and young women, in education |
