Description

CESU Task order for Information Center for Environment. Funding is available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Pacific Southwest Region Refuges Inventory and Monitoring Initiative (R8 I&M) to complete work as identified in the Region 8 I&M 2012 program priorities. Specifically, University of California - Davis, Information Center for the Environmnet (UCD ICE) will work with Region 8 I&M to evaluate the effect of climate change on National Wildlife Refuges (NWR) water management and assist with identifying water resources constraints to current and planned habitat management objectives using Basin Characterization Model (BCM). The USFWS intends to award UCD ICE a single source agreement because of the unique qualifications of the staff with the technical expertise to conduct this work. The anticipated project start date will be June 2012 with an expected completion date of September 2014.
