Unlimited Media European Film Distribution grant application 2023

ended

FILMDIST funding for European films in cinemas during 2022 distributed by Unlimited Media in territories of Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania). The objectives of current project: generation of a potential fund according to current Call for proposals, reinvestment of the generated fund in acquisition and distribution of non-national European films on the Baltic territory via theatrical distribution activities. These activities include acquisition of rights, localization, marketing and distribution: first theatrically and later via other channels, like TV/VOD etc. The project team consist of 2 people and various specialized outsourced partners. As outcome of this generated fund, we expect that it will give us financial leverage to enrich our distribution portfolio with European movies that would otherwise be left unattended and unavailable to the Baltic audience.
