Unlimited Media European Film Distribution grant application 2025

ongoing

Automatic funding for European films in cinemas throughout 2024, distributed by Unlimited Media across the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania), aims to achieve several objectives. Primarily, the project seeks to establish a potential fund in response to the current Call for proposals. This fund will be reinvested in the acquisition and distribution of non-national European films within the Baltic region through theatrical distribution initiatives. These efforts encompass securing rights, localization, marketing, and distribution, initially through theatrical releases and subsequently through other platforms such as TV and VOD. The project team comprises two individuals supported by various specialized outsourced partners. The anticipated outcome of this fund is to provide financial leverage, enabling the expansion of our distribution portfolio with European films that would otherwise remain overlooked and inaccessible to Baltic audiences.
