Description

Description

The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) represents people with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH) globally, including 23 EU Member States. IF's vision is a society that guarantees the human rights of children and adults with SBH, and celebrates their contribution in all areas of life, while guaranteeing equal access to maternal health literacy for all. IF achieves this through human rights advocacy on the rights of persons with disabilities according to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), awareness raising, research, community and capacity building and human rights education. The 2022 CERV Operating Grant is the first year of a four year Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) in which IF works to achieve the vision of inclusive societies in Europe. To achieve the nine objectives laid out in the FPA the 2022 SGA has 4 Work Packages. Work Package 1, includes actions and recommendations to feed and support policy-making. As well as data collection, outreach to policy makers, cooperations and partnerships. In Work Package 2, IF undertakes activities to increase the capacity of IF Member Associations in the EU, strengthen cross-border collaborations and increase awareness of key relevant EU initiatives. In Work Package 3, IF outlines its actions for communications, including awareness raising campaigns and dissemination of publications. Work Package 4, outlines the activities planned for networking, program management and evaluation. All activities are designed to further the rights of persons with SBH and contributing to the implementation of key EU initiatives such as the ESRPD and the EPSR. During this first year of the four year FPA, the activities outlined in the 4 Work Packages will lay the foundations for the full successful completion of the FPA.
