Description

Description

The International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (IF) represents people with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH) globally, including 23 EU Member States. IF's vision is a society that guarantees the human rights of children and adults with SBH, and celebrates their contribution in all areas of life, while guaranteeing equal access to maternal health literacy for all. IF achieves this through human rights advocacy on the rights of persons with disabilities according to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), awareness raising, research, community and capacity building and human rights education. The Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) will facilitate IF's work to achieve the mission of inclusive societies in Europe. IF values are in line with the EUs interests, policies, and the objectives listed in the call. To achieve this, IF has created nine objectives that will be accomplished through four Work Packages (Incl. Ten milestones and nine deliverables). In Work Package 1, IF undertakes activities to collect information, create recommendations, reach out to policy makers and support policy-making on the International and European level. In Work Package 2, IF outlines the activities designed to support capacity building for IF Members, improve awareness of key EU policies and strengthen cross-border collaborations. In Work Package 3 IF's activities are focused on awareness raising and dissemination. Including awareness raising of SBH, disability rights, key EU initiatives and IF activities. Work Package 4 includes activities on networking, programme management and evaluation. In all those activities, key aspects of the call are addressed including the implementation of the ESRPD, EPSR and the UNCRPD. IF's activities throughout the FPA are designed to be dynamic and responsive to changing needs of IF members as well as wider political and societal changes. Optimised through consistent quality and efficacy evaluations.
