The FC module aims to improve the quality of basic education by providing tablets with specialized learning programs in the selected schools. 178 learning centers in primary schools and 8 (mobile) learning centers in the Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs) are to be set up, which will be equipped with tablets, learning software, solar systems and other accessories. The regular use of the child-friendly reading and math app on the tablets is intended to increase the learning progress of the students and reduce dropout and repetition rates. Teachers and student teachers are trained in the new learning technology so that sustainable and effective use of the e-learning programs and integration into regular lessons can be ensured. The tablets in the TTCs can also be used by the students for other learning and teaching content. In order to institutionalize e-learning sustainably in the MoEST, training courses are held at central and district level and the responsible employees are closely involved in the implementation of the project.
