Description | The University of New Mexico is investing $2.8 million to renovate its baseball and softball facilities, including upgrades to press boxes and seating at the Lobo Softball Field and Lobo Baseball Field. The softball renovations include new bleachers and a press box, while the baseball renovations focus on the press box with additional features such as a control room and separate divisions for broadcast crews. Both press boxes will have shaded filming platforms. The softball bleacher renovation will add 719 new seats with various seating types. The projects are expected to be completed by late January or early February 2026, before the start of the 2026 season. |
