Unveiling the Significance of Cohesion Policy for EU Citizens

The Cohesion4(E)U aims to effectively support and enhance the dissemination of information related to the EU Cohesion policy by employing a multifaceted approach to deliver accurate, comprehensive, and engaging content that illustrates the significance of Cohesion policy in achieving the EU's priorities and addressing current and future challenges for the EU, its Member States, its regions and the local level. Therefore, our project's mission is to serve as a dynamic and inclusive platform for facilitating a deeper connection between Cohesion policy and the communities it serves, thereby fostering a sense of ownership, collaboration, and participation. We will inspire and engage a wide spectrum of audiences, from the general public to stakeholders, including NGOs, businesses, beneficiaries, and academic and public authorities. To create a better understanding of and engagement with EU Cohesion policy, the project will encompass a series of activities such as online media activations including infographics, social media campaigns, podcasts, e-banners, online polls, online articles, and a vlogging series; traditional media activities such as TV and radio spots, reportages, radio interviews, and printed press; dissemination events including a networking session, tour events, and themed events for young people aligned with the five goals of Cohesion policy, as well as interactive installations in public spaces to create immersive educational experiences for citizens, launched through a festival. Therefore, the project anticipates showcasing the tangible impact of Cohesion policy on local communities, cultivating a positive opinion among EU citizens as well as garnering increased support, leading to stronger advocacy and collaboration in Cohesion policy implementation. By fostering engagement and information-sharing, the project seeks to contribute to the broader discussion on the future of Cohesion policy and thereby of Europe.
