Description | Information Water Resources Department, Govt. of A.P has come up with Upgradation of Gandikota CBR Lifts & Gandikota Paidipalem Lift Scheme. with a ticket size of 3015 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Completion Certificate/COD and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Construction of new lift scheme to lift 2000 cusecs of water from Gandikota Dam to Chitravathi Balancing Reservoir in addition to the existing lift of 2000 cusecs to lift 10 TMC of water in about 30-35 days is proposed. Construction of new lift scheme for 1000 cusecs of water from Gandikota Reservoir to Paidipalem reservoir in addition to existing lift scheme of 2000 cusecs to lift 6 TMC of water in about 35 days. This project is proposed to stabilize the ayacut under GKLI, PBC, Lingala right canal and ayacut along the Chitravathi river from downstream of Goddumarri Anicut to confluence point of Gandikota Reservoir. |
