Description

Description

The project is to complete upgrades recommended by the Lagoon Needs Study (SIX-001). We are anticipating a need for upgrades in order to increase the capacity/lifespan of the lagoons, enhance service to the Six Nations Community and improve environmental outcomes on reserve, for surrounding municipalities, Ontario and Canada. The scope of the project is unknown until the study (project SIX-001) is completed. The Mississauga’s of the New Credit First Nation (New Credit) is located directly to the South of the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory and would greatly benefit from upgrades to our wastewater system since they have over 60 residences that rely on our sanitation truck service (home owner calls for service to empty their holding or septic tank, transport the human waste to the Six Nations waste water system and discharge the contents into the Six Nations lagoons for treatment).
