Upgrade of fire protection systems in tunnels

The project aims to upgrade fire protection systems in the tunnels of l’Université Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke. The scope of the project includes securing tunnels by adding doors with automatic access controls. In addition, a fire alarm system will be installed in the tunnels to bring them into compliance with regulations. The project consists of adding fire separations, fire alarms and access controls in the tunnels in order to make them comply with standards for the safety of people in the event of fire and smoke. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading the quality of school infrastructure.
