Upgrade of the Saint-Jean-Vianney sports complex

The project aims to replace the refrigeration system of the sports center arena, including the construction of an extension to accommodate the new refrigeration system and related equipment. Several upgrades and renovations will also be made to the existing building. .The upgrading work covers all other electromechanical building systems including structural and code work to be respected during a renovation and for a separation into two separate buildings, namely the Saint-Jean-Vianney College and the Center sportsman Saint-Jean-Vianney. For the sports center, this involves the separation of the power supply systems for electricity, water, sewage, fire protection and the building’s fire alarm. In addition, a fire separation must be constructed to separate the two sections of the building. Other lighting, plumbing ventilation, fire protection, roofing, elevator work, and the change of various finishes are required to bring this building up to standard. Work is also planned to allow the universal accessibility to all spectators, and for improvements. Exterior work is required for the addition of a fire hydrant, firefighter traffic and exterior signage. Other work will also be carried out to improve the accessibility, safety and energy performance of the building. This description of the work is not exhaustive and it could be revised following the completion of the final plans and specifications and the opening of calls for tenders.
