Description | The Village of Memramcook wants to upgrade the trail and the field (about 400 meters) located behind the arena next to École Abbey-Landry. The work will consist of redoing the trail and field, including the installation of insulation underneath to prevent frost from breaking the trail. A new light system will be installed so that the trail can also be used in the evening. Drainage will also be installed to help the long-term sustainability of the trail. The trail is now in poor condition and very dangerous. The Village has no sidewalks, which makes physical activity along the roads very dangerous. In addition, the advantage of a trail is that the ground is flat and level, which reduces the risk of injury to people when they are engaging in physical activity. |
