Description

Description

The upgrade of the standpipe will include the replacement of the existing roof for robotic cleaning access, installation of cathodic protection (never installed originally) to reduce corrosion, and installation of a circulation and heating system to keep the water from freezing and damaging the roof again. Work will prolong structure life, maintain clean water and fireflows without regular draining of the standpipe for maintenance. All work is proposed to be undertaken at one time due to the eliminate need to drain 30m standpipe and enhance Public Safety.
