Description	This project includes the replacement of all the internal components of the sewage lift station, including the pumps, steel piping and controls. This is being replaced due to the existing system being significantly corroded and rusted, which could result in a failure of the piping network and pumping system. This in the main sewage pumping station for the Township of Emo, which collects all the sewage from the entire Town, so failure of this station would be catastrophic. The pumping station will be fitted with stainless steel piping which is more resistant to corrosion, and the new pumps will be updated to be able to handle appropriate flows from the expanding Township. The works associated with this project have no yet commenced due to lack of funding. With this funding, the Town can move forward with this very important project.
