Description | The proposed project will consist of upgrading traffic signal equipment at four (4) intersections along SR4 in the City of Augusta-Richmond County. This project will improve the overall efficiency and safety of traffic flow by providing upgraded traffic signal displays, installing state of the art signal equipment, coordinating signal systems through fiber optic communications cable, and improving pedestrian safety by providing crosswalks, pedestrian signals and sidewalk ramps where appropriate. |
