Upgrade waterline - Main Road and Gulch

This is phase 3 of the existing waterline upgrade project currently ongoing in St. Bride’s. The project will replace the existing waterline along the Main road and Gulch area including the placement of approximately 740m of 100mm HDPE and 540m of 150mm HDPE waterline. With the waterline in this area in deplorable conditions the project will eliminate the need to repair frequent breakdowns. This project conforms to the Limit of Servicing plan. This project conforms to the Limit of Servicing plan. In addition the Town wishes to proceed with work to replace another 870 meters of various sized existing water pipe, that has been leaking and causing costly maintenance repairs & frequent interruptions in service. These lines are generally of a poor quality, known for numerous leaks, and are a major contributor to the Town remaining on a boil water advisory. This extension would also see the replacement of service lines to 25 residences & Fatima Academy School.
