Upgrade/Replace the Sewage Treatment Plant Aeration Equipment

Replace Aging/Failing - Waste Water Aeration Blowers and blower manifolds. The objective of this project is to ensure the Wastewater Treatment Plant continues to operate and treat wastewater effectively. The aeration blowers are an integral component of the wastewater treatment system. The plant operates with two blowers (only one operates at a time). The blowers are aging and one blower has recently failed so that now we have no back up. The objective is to take this opportunity replace the blowers, motors and aeration manifolds with new/reliable/more efficient equipment that will ensure the plant’s continued operation for years to come. The scope of this project will include purchasing new, efficient blowers, motors, and aeration manifolds; pumping the aeration tank down and installing the new equipment. The expected output is a to have more reliable and efficient equipment installed to equip the wastewater plant to run effectively for years to come while saving on operating costs.
