Description

Description

I) 4 existing surface aerators are highly inefficient in terms of process and energy. Installation of 4 high efficient surface aerators will replace these old and aging aerators and result in better treatment process, energy savings and reduce the carbon footprint. ii) Retrofit raw pumps with new high efficient pumps which include Variable Frequency Drives. This will result in more reliable and efficient supply in the system with less breakdown and, reduce energy and carbon footprint. iii) Installation of an in-line Muffin Monster grinder to cut down troublesome solids and rags that damage pumps and clog valves which cause costly damage and excessive repairs. Currently there is only a manually cleaned bar screen which is conducted on a weekly basis by two operators in a confined space where workers are exposed to a hazardous environment. iv) Replace 1 aging Motor Control Center (MCC) Panel with new panel. This will result in more reliable and efficient supply in the system with less breakdown and, reduce energy and carbon footprint. Aging MCC panels are also becoming a major health & safety risk.
