Description
Description | The project aims to bring oncology up to standard and relocate to the second floor of the Hospital and Centre de services communautaires (CLSC) in Sept-Îles. The oncology department is currently located in premises that do not comply with the level of ventilation. In addition, it is located in a wing where there is a large traffic of users. Patient privacy and peace of mind can be compromised. The department will be relocated to the 2nd floor in an isolated wing of the hospital. Demolition work (floors, ceilings, partitions) will be carried out. Patching work on floors, ceilings and walls will be carried out. New high-performance electromechanical systems, which will serve these premises, will meet the standards and energy saving measures in force. An upgrade of the existing infrastructure will also be carried out to supply the new loads of these systems. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure. |
