Description | The reconstruction of George Street will encompass the replacement of existing deteriorating and infiltration burdened sanitary sewer system as well as the upgrade to the existing undersized storm sewer and watermain systems. Work will include the rehabilitation and upgrade to the existing semi-urban road cross-section to improve the local road drainage and the overall storm sewer system. There are 29 dwellings on this part of George St. There are 32 sanitary sewer connections plus the Harriston-Minto Community Complex. There are 25 water connections plus the Harriston-Minto Community Complex. The lengths of the services are: Sanitary-420m; Water-440m; Stormwater-420m. The existing sizes of the pipes are: Sanitary-200mm & 250mm; Water-100mm & 150mm; Stormwater-150mm & 375mm. The proposed sizes of the pipes are: Sanitary-200mm & 250mm; Water-150mm; Stormwater-250mm & 450mm. |
