Upgrading of the chilled water production system at the Hôpital Pierre-Boucher

The Hôpital Pierre-Boucher must increase its production of chilled water in order to meet the standards in force and the air conditioning demand of new ventilation projects. A new outdoor chiller with integrated air condensers of 300 tonnes of refrigeration will be installed on the roof of the hospital. Plate heat exchangers and circulation pumps are planned on the ninth floor of the hospital to allow connection to the existing system. The new equipment will be connected to the automatic regulation system. A new electrical distribution is also planned as well as a new transfer switch and a main emergency panel. The project will support pandemic response and economic recovery, notably by maintaining and upgrading health infrastructure.
