Upgrading the curling center

The project aims to upgrade the existing Club de curling Kénogami building up to standard so that it can meet the needs of today’s clientele. The work consists of ensuring the integrity of the fire resistance of the staircases and emergency exits in the center of the reception hall, relocating the exit staircases in the basement, upgrading the sanitary block on the ground floor, adapting the entrance vestibule and the staircase between the entrance hall and the reception hall to meet accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility, installing fire resistance between the basement and the ground floor, updating the men’s and women’s washroom furniture, fixing water infiltration in the ceiling level of the ice area, installing a fresh air unit for the main hall, replacing the heating system, modernizing the electrical system, refurbishing the ice technician’s room and the equipment storage section (tables/chairs) in the main reception hall, etc. This project will allow the municipality to provide its population with better quality recreational infrastructure.
