Description | The project will relocate/upgrade the current wastewater lagoon in Matachewan First Nation, Ontario to comply with the Ontario standards for lagoon design. The project seeks to decommission the current lagoon and relocate to a new site where the septic waste would not be discharged directly into environment. This includes an upgrade to the liner of the new lagoon cell, creating a road access to the site, and installing a new overflow mechanism, outlet pipe and pump. The project will result in wastewater effluents that comply with the Ontario and federal standards. |
