Description | The Upper Cane and Cardo Bore East hub is a new mining facility in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia. It is positioned 16 kilometres south of Ken's Bore operations and represents the second active mining area within Onslow Iron's development framework. The hub accesses previously stranded high-grade iron ore deposits and integrates with existing infrastructure to enhance operational efficiency. It features a hub-and-spoke model with centralized processing at Ken's Bore, a private 150-kilometre haul road to the Port of Ashburton, and offshore transhipment operations 40 kilometres from port facilities. The hub commenced production in 2025 and achieved record shipments and production volumes in Q3 2025. |
