Uravan Belt Uranium Waste Recovery Project

Metals One PLC has expanded its agreement with DISA Technologies to evaluate and potentially treat abandoned uranium mine waste dumps at its Uravan Belt project in Colorado. The project covers eight separate waste dumps across a 490-hectare site comprising 59 unpatented mining claims near the historic Buckhorn Mine. DISA will deploy its patented high-pressure slurry ablation (HPSA) technology to extract uranium and other critical minerals from surface waste material while removing around 90% of uranium and radium-226 content, delivering significant environmental benefits. DISA will act as operator and cover all costs of permitting, evaluation, treatment, and ongoing remediation, with Metals One receiving a gross revenue share on saleable concentrates recovered.
