Urban recreational infrastructure: Pignatelli Deposits

completed

The project involves the urban development of the former Pignatelli reservoirs in Zaragoza, transforming the historic water supply infrastructure into a contemporary recreational space. It includes three main areas: a navigable pond with misting nozzles, a banded garden with children's play areas and water features, and an amphitheater with a water-lily pond and stage. The design emphasizes water as a central element and integrates local materials and sustainable water management techniques.
