Description | The Urban Youth Moves - City Inclusion Trails for Youth (CITY) project is an 18-month Erasmus+ Small-scale Partnership in Sport designed to promote youth inclusion, physical activity, and urban engagement through innovative city trails, mobility, and storytelling. The project is led by Youth Bridges Budapest (Hungary) in partnership with OTI Slovakia, MAD for Europe (Spain), and EUTHRIVE (Italy), each bringing expertise in youth mobility, outdoor education, city walks, and health promotion. The project aims to: - Develop inclusive urban trails that encourage physical activity and social interaction. - Foster youth engagement in urban spaces, promoting accessibility and inclusion. - Strengthen intercultural dialogue and active citizenship through mobility and storytelling. - Create digital storytelling resources (CITY Storybook & Video Playlist) to amplify youth voices. Main Activities: 1. Development of the CITY Inclusion Trails: 12 inclusive urban trails (3 per city) co-designed with young people and stakeholders. Routes promoting social inclusion, accessibility, and well-being. 2. CITY Youth Mobility in Budapest: Young participants explore urban trails and share experiences. Storytelling and digital content creation. 3. Dissemination & Sustainability: Local events, social media campaigns, and Erasmus+ platforms. Long-term integration of trails in community initiatives. The project will benefit young people, youth workers, urban planners, and local communities, fostering sustainable, youth-friendly cities. By engaging youth in urban mobility and civic participation, CITY contributes to EU priorities on inclusion, sustainability, and active citizenship, ensuring a lasting impact beyond the project’s duration. |
