Description | The University of Rhode Island and Gilbane have reached financial close on a public-private partnership to build and operate new on-campus student housing. The project includes construction of three new residence halls with a total of 1,100 beds, including two new apartment-style residence halls on Flagg Road and reconstruction of the Graduate Village Apartments for graduate students. Construction is set to begin in November 2025, with the first residence hall opening as early as fall 2027. |
