This project, the first phase, will incorporate widening US19 at Gandy Boulevard / Park Boulevard and on Gandy Boulevard to provide dual left-turn lanes southbound to eastbound. Operational improvements to the off-ramps from Gandy Boulevard onto US19 will be addressed. Bicycle and pedestrian accommodations will be implemented where feasible. In addition to the turn lanes, this project will look at signalizing the following intersections: US19 and Gateway Center Boulevard, Park Boulevard and 40th Street North. Design is currently underway. Construction is not currently funded. |
