Description | The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has started an $11.8 million project to reconstruct the intersection of U.S. 20 and Illinois 73 in Lena. The project includes grading, culvert replacement, adding turn lanes, and installing traffic signals. Improvements will be made on U.S. 20 from Rees Road to about a half-mile west of Illinois 73, and on Illinois 73 just north and south of U.S. 20. The project is expected to take one construction season to complete and will be done in several phases with detours and temporary signals in place. |
