US 301 Intersection Upgrades and Median Changes

The developer for the new Sentosa Riverview Apartments will be making changes to US 301 between Cone Grove Rd and Whitt Rd in Riverview. The improvements include changing the existing median opening near Kappeler Court & Pleasant Living Park Drive so that the northbound left aligns with Kappeler Ct. The southbound left to Pleasant Living Park Drive is being removed to construct a northbound left turn lane onto Lake Montauk Drive. Murphy Road is being reconstructed on the east side of US-301 to align with Lake Montauk Drive and a directional median opening is being constructed to allow for northbound lefts onto Lake Montauk Dr. and southbound lefts onto Murphy Rd. A northbound right turn lane is being built on US-301 at Murphy Road. A northbound right turn lane is being built on US-301 at Shady Walk Court. The east side of the US 301 intersection at Whitt Road is being improved. Lanes may be closed between 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and between 9:00 pm to 5:00 am daily.
