Description | The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is expanding an ongoing resurfacing project on US-431 in Phenix City to include intersection modifications at US-431 and SR-165. The modifications include installation of additional left and right turn lanes, widening of SR-165 to accommodate the new lanes, and offsetting left turns on US-431 onto Crosswinds Road to improve sight distance. The resurfacing project began in June and includes resurfacing, guardrail installation, and traffic striping from Freeman Road to US-280. |
