US 90 Multi-Use Trail PD&E Study

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to assess the environmental and community impacts associated with the construction of a multi-use trail along US 90 from Edenfield Road to the Jefferson County Line in Leon County, Florida.The intent of this study is to evaluate the potential need for a trail to support a wide range of non-motorized transportation options. In recent years, the US 90 corridor has become an increasingly popular route for cyclists. In response to this growing use, the trail segment being evaluated has been identified as a priority trail on the Florida Shared-Use Nonmotorized (SUN) Trail network and was added to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Office of Greenways and Trails Priority List.
