U.S. Anti-Drone Defense Systems Against Iranian Drones

under construction

The U.S. and its allies have implemented various defense systems to counter Iranian drones, including air-based strikes using F-16 fighter jets with APKWS II rockets, ground-based defense systems like the Coyote, ship-based anti-missile defenses using Navy destroyers with SM-2 interceptors, ground-based anti-missile defenses such as the Patriot system with PAC-3 interceptors, ground-based guns like the Centurion C-RAM, and interceptor drones powered by AI like the Merops Surveyor. These systems are costly and have faced challenges such as limited availability and depleted stockpiles.
