The blocked measures include a July 2025 Department of the Interior memo requiring all wind and solar agency decisions to pass through a three-tier internal review and a ban on wind and solar developers accessing the federal IPaC environmental database. The plaintiffs claimed these policies put more than 57 GW of renewable capacity at risk of cancellation or serious delay, threatening around USD 905 million in capital already invested in project development. |
