Description

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is investing $800 million to transform and modernize the tennis facilities for the U.S. Open, including a top-to-bottom renovation of Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, New York, and the addition of a new $250 million player performance center. The renovation includes a new grand entrance, modernized concourses and restrooms, two new luxury suite levels, new club and restaurant areas, and an additional 2,000 seats in the courtside-level bowl. The player performance center will feature redesigned locker rooms, lounges, player dining, a courtyard, and a new entranceway. The project is self-funded and scheduled for completion by the 2027 U.S. Open, with no impact on play and fan access for the 2026-27 events.
