Description

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is making its largest ever investment in the U.S. Open by investing $800 million to transform and modernize tennis facilities. This includes a top-to-bottom renovation of Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, New York, and the construction of a new $250 million player performance center. The renovation will feature a new grand entrance, modernized concourses and restrooms, two new luxury suite levels, new club and restaurant areas, and an addition of 2,000 seats in the courtside-level bowl. The player performance center will include redesigned locker rooms, lounges, player dining, a player courtyard, and a new entranceway. The project is self-funded and is expected to be completed by the 2027 U.S. Open, with no impact on play and fan access for the 2026-27 events.
