Description | The University of Texas at Austin is developing the UT Dell Medical Center, a new university hospital and research campus focused on clinical care, research, advanced computing, and artificial intelligence. The campus will span over 300 acres in North Austin and include a hospital with 300 to 500 beds, outpatient facilities, and a full-service emergency department. The project integrates MD Anderson Cancer Center into the medical center to provide cancer care closer to home. The medical center is scheduled to open in 2030 with specialty programs phased in by 2032. |
