Utility-scale Neutral Atom Quantum Computer in Illinois

Infleqtion has partnered with the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park (IQMP) and the National Quantum Algorithms Center (NQAC) to build the first utility-scale, neutral atom quantum computer in Illinois, US. The $50 million project will be funded by both public and private investments over the next four years and hosted at IQMP in Chicago. The system will integrate Infleqtion's Sqale platform with its Superstaq compiler, targeting 100 logical qubits and leveraging thousands of neutral atom qubits. Infleqtion will expand its workforce in Illinois and move its headquarters to the state.
