Description | The Uttar Pradesh government plans to develop 27 Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (IMLCs) across 26 districts along major expressways including Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Agra-Lucknow, Gorakhpur Link, and Ganga Expressways. The project aims to boost industrial growth, improve logistics, and enhance connectivity for industries. The first phase includes 12 clusters in key locations such as Meerut, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, and others. Funding approvals have been received for major clusters, and significant land acquisition and infrastructure development are underway to make the sites industry-ready. The state aims to attract anchor investors to create a strong industrial ecosystem and transform expressway corridors into manufacturing hubs. |
