The Program for Results (PforR) will support capacity-building of teachers; infrastructure strengthening and upgradation in select schools, and technology solutions for achieving the program outcomes. This operation will be supported by a Technical Assistance component that will use the Investment Project Financing (IPF) instrument to engage technical experts and organizations that can provide technical assistance, capacity building, and implementation support for the state’s nodal educational institutions - State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) and State Institute of Education Management and Training (SIEMAT), for several results areas. It will also be used for setting-up a Project Management Unit (PMU). The IPF component will not include any purchase of IT hardware, equipment, or servers by the state government or include support on aspects related to school infrastructure and facilities.
