The plant aims to produce 72,000 tonnes of green fuel annually and will blend 2% green hydrogen with compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) for city gas distribution. The 2 MW renewable energy plant generates hydrogen through electrolysis, reducing carbon emissions by around 500 tonnes. The project is part of Uttar Pradesh's Green Hydrogen Policy, which offers incentives and capital subsidies for green hydrogen and ammonia production facilities. |
