Information Uttarakhand Urban Sector Development Agency has come up with Uttarakhand Integrated and Resilient Urban Development Project with a ticket size of 937 INR Crores. This project in Sewerage Treatment Plant, Sewage Collection, Water Supply, Storm Water Drainage, Treatment & Disposal sub-sector involves Implementation of Underground Sewerage Scheme. The current status of the project is Work in Progress and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project 1. Ensuring high-quality citywide inclusive sanitation systems and service provision. 2. Pilot demonstrating bus mobile toilets to enhance sanitation services in public spaces. 3. Promoting behavioral changes toward water and resource savings and better hygiene practices and strengthening. 4.Strengthening the institutional knowledge and capacity of state and local governments for integrated, sustainable, and climate-resilient urban development.
