Description | Digital evaluation is being introduced in the first phase of the Unified University and College Management System (UUCMS) at three higher education institutions in Karnataka: Mangalore University, SDM College (Autonomous), Dharwad, and Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari. The rollout at Mangalore University will begin as a pilot for select postgraduate courses with a small number of candidates before wider adoption. Training has been provided to support the process, and the facility will later be extended to other institutions adopting UUCMS. The university is preparing to use the UUCMS platform instead of establishing its own digital evaluation facility. The system requires a separate facility and infrastructure to be established in advance for smooth functioning. |
