Valley View Villa - Dining Room Upgrades

The project will see the creation of new kitchenettes in the facility’s two dining rooms. Rationale: Each kitchenette will be equipped with a conveyor toaster, commercial ice maker, stainless commercial work tables, fridge/freezers, and dishwashers. The facility’s central kitchen will still prepare main dishes, but can be delivered to the kitchenettes for proper dishing and serving. Meals can be served when resident wants to eat rather then set times. Creates a more relaxing and homelike atmosphere, smaller gathering sizes and staggered meal times. Improved infection prevention and control with proper equipment and proper area to plate food that is away from residents care area.
