Description | The ValOre Pedra Branca PGE project is a near-surface platinum group elements (PGE) deposit located in Ceará State, Brazil. It covers 51,096 hectares across 45 exploration licences and represents one of the largest consolidated PGE land positions in the Western Hemisphere outside Southern Africa. The project features near-surface mineralisation amenable to open-pit mining, with existing infrastructure access including paved highway, proximity to a deep-water port, and grid electricity. The project is undergoing metallurgical scale-up testing in 2026, with a Preliminary Economic Assessment targeted for year-end 2026, followed by formal licensing and trial mining in 2027 and full production ramp-up in 2028. |
