Vande Bharat Express Train Services on USBRL

Operational

Two new Vande Bharat Express trains have been launched to run on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link, initially operating between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar six days a week. These trains are engineered to withstand severe winter conditions in the Himalayan region, with features like heated windscreens, heating mechanisms, and thermally insulated lavatories to ensure year-round operation and passenger comfort. The Jammu Tawi railway station is undergoing redevelopment, and once completed, the train services will extend up to Jammu from Srinagar.
